The SPI K9 Service is the specialist canine unit of the company. Based in our kennels in Milton Keynes and at our central London offices we operate on a national basis. Our dog teams secure a diversity of premises from industrial developments through to personal protection for blue chip clients.

Recent contracts our teams have worked on include:

Training
Our Dogs and Handlers receive updates and training on a weekly basis and we work within the strict guidelines of the Guard Dogs Act 1975. This ensures that all personnel are constantly updated with current legislation as new laws and practices enter the industry. Our clients have peace of mind knowing that their property and personnel are being protected by a professional K9 Unit.

Search Dogs
We have a small team of highly trained search dogs that are used in the detection of explosives and firearms. These dogs would be typically used in high risk areas where individuals are at risk or locations that may be under threat from terrorists or crime. Dogs used in this specialist role are generally spaniels, labradors or pointers. Our K9 units specialise in the following areas:

  • Drugs Detection
